Protecting You chapter 1

"Lucy...are you ok?" The blonde called Lucy turned her head to the blue haired mage that was speaking to her. Lucy looked down to where she had her hand on her stomach then smiled towards the mage.

"I'm fine, Juvia. Just...thinking." She said reassuring Juvia. Juvia nodded but knew something was wrong. She stood up and headed towards the bar where a scarlet haired beauty and a whit haired mage stood.

"Erza..." The scarlet haired beauty turned to Juvia as she said her name, "Something's wrong with Lucy. She's worrying me..." The three looked towards the blonde who was slumped in her chair, a bad aura surrounding her.

"This isn't normal." Erza said turning towards Lucy. She started to walk towards her when the door to the guild slammed open.

"Don't you dare talk to me like that flame brain!" Screamed a dark haired teen walking into the guild. His comment seemed to be pointed towards the pink haired dragon slayer that walked in next to him.

"You damn popsicle!" The pink haired mage retorted. They walked towards the table where Lucy sat, stopping in front making her turn her head to them.

"Don't call me that! If you could control your fire, we'd have money right now!" The teen spat back. He brought up an icy fist towards the dragon slayer.

"If you could control your damn ice, and hadn't frozen half the town I wouldn't of had to melt it all!" The dragon slayer brought a fiery fist to the ice mage, both gritting there teeth.

"Isn't he more destructive, Lucy?!" They shouted, both turning towards the blonde. She sent a glare towards them and sighed heavily.

"Will you two just grow up? I swear you get more and more childish each day. You'll never survive as adults." The two flinched, making the girls stare in awe at their friend. What was up with Lucy?

"Tch, you didn't have to say that..." The ice mage said, relaxing and turning towards the group of girls seeing Juvia.

"Oi...Lucy, are you-" The fire age stopped talking when Erza shook her head towards him. He watched the blonde carefully before turning and walking towards the group.

"What's up with Lucy?" The ice mage asked, slinking his arm over Juvias shoulders. He kissed the top of her head making her blush slightly but she didn't protest it.

"We don't know. Natsu, did you do something to her?" The white haired mage asked the pink haired one.

"W-What? Mira! Why would you ask that?!" He blushed seeming somewhat guilty but he truly couldn't think of anything that's happened between them that would make her like this.

"You're blushing! You did something!" Mira responded pointing a pen at Natsu. He crossed his arms and looked away, still blushing.

"C'mon Natsu. Just tell them already. Lu-chan told me." Another blue haired mage walked up, a tall, dark haired dragon slayer behind her.
"Levy? You know?" Erza asked turning towards the two that approached them.

"Gray, do you know?" Juvia asked the ice mage. He shook his head and looked at Natsu questioningly.

"We just...um..." Natsu told his friends slowly and cautiously not sure how they'd react.

"You retard!" Erza smacked him upside the head.

"Ow! What was that for?!" He asked guarding his head for another hit.

"You can't go and do that and then act like nothing happened! That's like pushing a girl into the pits of hell!" Erza gritted her teeth. The girls around her nodded in agreement.

"I...didn't think she wanted anything to happen. The morning after Lucy was freaking out so much. She nearly kicked me out without any clothes!" He said aloud but more to himself. "I didn't know she'd get so depressed from it."

"Well, she is a girl in love..." Cana blurted walking into the group.

"In love?!" Gray, Natsu, and Gajeel asked surprised.

"Yeah, she's been talking about this boy that she's absolutely fallen for. Apparently they did it too. I don't think it's you though, Natsu. The way she talks about him...it's not the same as when she talks about you. A completely different emotion comes from her." The others looked at her, not sure what to think then.

'Someone else?' Natsu wondered looking towards the ground. 'Wait...why should this bother me?!' He shook his head and ran his fingers through his hair frustratingly.

"Hey guys." Lucy said, smiling sadly. The group looked at her, trying to hide their sadness. "I have something to tell you..." She bit her lip. Still unsure whether or not she should tell everyone.

"Ok, spit it out." Gajeel said leaning on the counter. That remark earned him a jab in the stomach from Levy's elbow.

"I....I'm...I'm p...pr....." She closed her eyes tightly and spoke louder this time, louder than she wanted to, "I'm pregnant!"
